These gatherings bring together people from all walks of life and experiences to raise questions, listen to, and discuss a topic chosen by the group that evening.  Socrates -- the Greek philosopher after whom the group is named -- exhorted his students to “follow the argument wherever it leads.”  All sessions are committed to open, respectful and philosophical discussion and debate.

All are welcome.  No prior learning is required.
