MEET THE AUTHOR! (and Cartoonist) – Saturday, March 6 from 11 a.m.-Noon Local cartoonist and author, Bob Heim (a.k.a. Uncle Bob) will be here to read from his new children’s book, THE SQUEAKING EARL, and do a cartooning demonstration. CELEBRATE SEUSS! – Saturday, March 6 from 2-4 p.m.
Stop by anytime between 2 and 4:00 to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with Seuss stories, crafts, & films. No need to preregister, just stop in anytime for a quick story & craft!
ST. PATRICK’S DAY FUN – Saturday, March 13 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for Preschoolers
- Saturday, March 13 from 2-3:00 p.m. for grades K and up
Preschoolers are invited to a special St. Patty’s storytime & snack in the morning.
Older children can come at 2:00 for Irish stories, music, crafts, and snacks.

SPRING IS HERE!!! – Saturday, March 20
Today is the first day of spring! Stop in any time between 2 and 4:00 in the afternoon to make & take a spring craft to celebrate the end of winter!
BOOK TALK TIME! (for ages 7-11) – Saturday, March 27 from 2-3:00 p.m.
Would you like to find out what cool new books are at the Library, and be first to check them out, or have you read a great book that you would like to tell other kids about? Come to our first Book Talk Time if you would like to talk books! We’ll share some snacks and maybe play a game or two of Book Bingo. Please call 823-0156 Ext. 217 to register.
IT'S NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK! - April 11-17, 2010
Do you like libraries? Do you like trivia? Do you like a challenge? If you said "yes" to any of these questions, then why not try our National Library Week Trivia Challenge? Just stop by the Youth Services Desk and ask for a Library Trivia Question during National Library Week. You could win a prize!
FAMILY FUNNY NIGHT - Thursday, April 15 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Did you know that April is National Humor Month? To celebrate this fun event, bring the whole family to our Family Funny Night. We will be reading some funny stories, seeing funny films, and telling a few jokes. Bring your favorite joke and share it with the crowd, if you like.
